Raised in the Ardèche, France, Christophe Bellanca trained alongside Georges Blanc, Régis Marcon and Anne-Sophie Pic before moving to New York, where he led the kitchens of Le Cirque and L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, earning two Michelin stars. In 2022 he opened Essential by Christophe on the Upper West Side, a singular expression of modern French cuisine built on restraint, precision, and the purity of the essential.
